Plot

Tina asked Jimmy Jr. to the Wagstaff school dance and he says maybe, wants to keep his options open. On his way home, he sees his former lover, Josh (from 'Lindapendent Woman') dancing on the street with a group of people. After some flirtatious banter, Josh asks Tina to go to her dance school and she is torn whether to accept or wait if Jimmy Jr changes her mind.

Both parents believe that it is better to go with a boy who definitely wants to go with him than who might want to leave. When Tina tries to get a definite answer from Jimmy Jr., she is laid off until the moment she mentions someone else asked her out on a date. Jimmy Jr. is jealous and tries to turn his answer into a yes, but Tina decides to go with Josh. Meanwhile, Linda gets a call to accompany her daughter's dance and she convinces Bob to join him to redeem a dance that he never went as a child. Suffice it to say Bob is not looking forward to the dance.

Jimmy Jr. and Josh met when he dropped by after school to pick up Tina (literally) for frozen yogurt. After taking a nervous Louise and getting earful from jealous Jimmy Jr (making Tina a bit interested in the possibility of two boys fighting over it) Tina and Josh leave. Zeke promises to help her friend get Tina back. At home, Bob realizes how delighted Tina has two people competing for affection and dislikes how she seems to string them up because it reminds her of her being dumped right outside the dance school during her courtship.

Zeke and Jimmy Jr. enter into an impromptu wrestling match at lunch in front of Tina, and Zeke lets his friend win to try and make it look good. Tina does not waver easily, but tells Jimmy Jr. to keep trying to impress him. Jimmy Jr. go to Louise and Gene for help and end up dressed like a horse reading messy messages through a walkie talkie. Tina is firm in her decision to go with Josh and is happy to know that her refusal only made Jimmy Jr. more want it. While Louise and Gene stay home with a baby sitter, Tina and Bob are dressed up ready to dance in their lives (Linda even hangs a limo hummer to invite Bob to dance in style).

The upbringing of the school was basically a failure between jealous Linda and Bob glaring at a teacher, slapping her, crying in the girl's room, revealing that she faked her to give Bob a genuine sense of high school dance drama, and sharing smuggled alcohol. Meanwhile, Jimmy Jr. bumping into Josh's school dance with Zeke, Louise, Gene, and the baby-sitter behind him. Jimmy Jr. challenge Josh to a dance for Tina. It moves fast vs. expressive ballet and in the end, Tina can not choose between two boys. He tried to make it work between the three of them, but Jimmy and Josh were delayed by this and Tina was finally alone. Bob and Linda's night ends around as well as Tina when Linda is drunk spewing all over Bob and both are escorted out by middle elementary school.

Reception

Rowan Kaiser from The A.V. Club gave episode A, saying "Two For Tina" went on Bob's Burgers' victory season, which was achieved largely by focusing on Tina. "I'm skeptical of Gene and Tina as the focus for the first episode, and while I'm still not entirely sure how often Gene can bring the episode, I'm glad that Bob's Burgers has knocked out my Tina Confidence-based Episodes like this , "Tina-rannosaurus Wrecks," and "Broadcast Wagstaff School News" indicate that yes, Tina is a star.He can be the focus of the best episode of the show. "Dyanamaria Leifsson of TV Equals says" Nothing is surprisingly or very inventive about the flow story this week Bob's Burgers , but the Belchers always have a way of making the usual look funny, and they do that in "Two for Tina."

This episode received a rating of 1.7 and was watched by a total of 3.62 million people. This made it the third most-watched show in Animation Domination that night, beating the Cleveland Show but lost to Family Guy .
